About Us

Being the owner of Bulawayo Wedding Planner and Events is a dream come true.

 

I started my business in 2013, after working as an event manager for a small lodge in my Home town. Prior to my life in the event world I worked a bookkeeper, however my passion has always been in natural beauty and design, Im an avid photographer as well as my own personal dressmaker, and these experiences have influenced my approach to event management and design.

 

Each couple I work with is unique and I love helping them find ways to incorporate their personalities into their event. I think personal touches are important and part of what make your wedding memorable! I love when guests to walk into my clients’ event and I hear them say “This is SO them!”

My favorite part of a wedding is showing the bride and groom their reception before we let their guests into the room. I love the excitement and surprise when they see what they’ve been envisioning come to life!

This is a very exciting time with so much planning ahead to get your special day just right! Couples deserve and should experience a pleasant and memorable engagement and wedding planning experience. This seldom happens due to busy work schedules, family obligations, indecisiveness, and just simply not knowing where to start or how to plan for a wedding. What do the costs include?

 

The service of a Wedding Planner includes negotiations with Vendors (Venues, Caterers, Dj's, Cake Decorators, Transportation, Entertainers, Accommodation, Decorators, Flowers, Photographers Dressmakers etc). This includes meetings with the Bride and Groom together with the vendors, negotiating your requirements and ensuring that the progress is made every step of the way.

 

Many Brides and Grooms are fully equipped with the 'planning' gene, however not everyone realises the stress involved in planning your perfect Wedding Day. Invariably Families dont agree on everything your planning, this is where a Wedding Planner can relieve the stress, by being a negotiator, an independant who has Your best interests to heart. 

 

There also comes a lot of stress for Brides and Grooms during the last few months prior to the Big Day... A Wedding Planner ensures that your stress is relieved by taking the pressure off the Engaged couple so that they can concentrate on eachother.  The Wedding Planner ensures that everything is running to plan and report directly to you on the progress... Bearing in mind, should any shortfalls come about, they take the responsibility of finding an alternative prior to stressing you about the problem...

 

On the day of the Your Wedding, Your Planner will be there in full support - at the ceremony site ensuring everything has been set up as required, at the reception site ensuring that the tables, centerpieces and the Venue is decorated as required, the Cake is delivered, the Caterer has all the equipment to serve your meals, and dealing with any little problems you may have in getting yourself ready. Your Planner will be present as long as you require them there... ensuring timings and making sure your Big Day is one that you will remember with a Smile...
